2-Hour Nighttime Ghost Tour – Audioguide
On this Nighttime Ghost Tour – Audioguide, you’ll spend two hours exploring the dark history of Edinburgh, delving into stories of ghosts, mysteries and witchcraft. Visit historic cemeteries and alleyways while uncovering legends and scientific investigations into the city’s most unexplained phenomena. A tour for believers and sceptics alike, but essential for anyone wanting to truly understand Edinburgh.
Throughout history, Edinburgh has witnessed bloody events, murders and witch burnings. The echoes of these events remain embedded in its closes and cemeteries, which we explore as night falls.
Leaving the busiest tourist areas behind, this Edinburgh ghost tour takes you back to a time when life outside the city walls was forbidden. Through stories and visual projections, your guide reveals the city as its former inhabitants once knew it. Often, history proves darker than legend.
This tour is not recommended for children under 5 due to the mature themes explored.

We had Milly as our guide on this tour on May 10th and she was EXCELLENT! So informative and passionate about the subject, and very entertaining. She kept us engaged all the way through, and the audioguide option was perfectly synchronized. Ghosts, witches, and graverobbers - I loved every second and would totally recommend to anyone visiting Edinburgh. 10/10.

Ghost tour was very interesting! I learned a lot and it was very spooky. The guide and the audio support made it so interactive and time just flew by. Don't skip this if you are in Edinburgh.

The stories were very chilling and the audio device worked perfectly to complement the guide's speech. The only downside is that standing still in the vaults and graveyards during December gets incredibly cold, so make sure to wear thick layers. Overall, a great experience.
